As on date (28th Dec'21, 5pm), 37,08,713 students' data has been uploaded on the portal from various institutes/universities, and this data is being continuously updated by the stakeholders. In the first phase, that is till March'22, the distribution of devices would be done to Final Year students of all courses, and the students of courses with duration 1 year or less. The distribution of next phase will cater the other students thereafter.

The MDM enrolment has been done for the enterprise deployment of the devices. This ensures that enterprise grade security features are available in the device, it prevents device from data loss, phishing and blocks malware. If device gets stolen, it can be remotely locked by the admin when end user reports such device loss. MDM helps in pushing educational content and career related content to the devices directly, though dynamic wallpaper and boot logo, which helps end user to stay updated with the latest government policies.
